What was the highlight of Hotel E Velasco Matanzas
Hotel Velasco Matanzas - Oasis in centre of Matanzas Great place to visit and admire its refurbished glory in the Plaza de Libertad in the centre of Matanzas. Down the wall there are some excellent photos of old Matanzas as well. Sitting at the old wooden bar or in the modern cafe next door was a great relaxation in between exploring, Excellent meal in the restaurant for 7 CUC, Good choice of menu and the fish was perfectlly cooked, well presented with vegetables and a buttery mash, (which was a nice change from rice). Cafe and hotel staff really friendly and helpful, A great place and will definitely spend a night there in the future.
